The short version
FamRiot is a simple, family-friendly activity finder. We ask for your zip code, we find fun things to do, and we don't store, sell, or share any of it. That's it.
Information we use
When you search for activities, you provide:
- Zip code – used only to generate activity suggestions for your area
- Search radius and age preferences – used only to tailor results
This information is sent to our AI service to generate results and is not stored on our servers after your request is complete.
How AI works on FamRiot
Your search is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI through a secure proxy server. This means:
- Your request goes to our Cloudflare Worker (a secure middleman)
- The Worker forwards it to Anthropic's API — our API key is never exposed to your browser
- Results come back to you and are cached briefly for performance
- We never log your zip code or search terms persistently

Cookies & tracking
FamRiot does not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking technology.
We use a short-lived in-memory session cache (gone when you close the tab) so that repeat searches for the same zip code load faster. Nothing is written to your device.
Children's privacy
FamRiot is designed for families but we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. No account creation is required or possible on this site.
